Product Description GE WB44K5012 Bake Element for Many GE, Hotpoint, RCA, and Sears Ovens
|
| Customer Reviews: Good product February 12, 2010 S. Connelly (ODESSA, TX, US) For something we couldn't actually see, it was exactly the right fit for our oven. Works great.
Just what the oven needed! March 18, 2010 K. Joyner I had my baking element go bad in my Kenmore Oven, and found the replacement element available on Amazon. The shipping was fast, the element was easy to replace. All of the dimensions were spot on, so there were no suprises. If this is your element for your stove, don't be afraid to replace it yourself!
OEM Replacement June 12, 2010 Jerry C (Florida) This bake element is the direct OEM replacement part. Arrived 4-5 days ground. 70% lower cost than local appliance dealer part, including shipping.
Easy find, easy install, glad I looked on Ammazon.
Works; with modifications May 24, 2010 Kerry I have a Kenmore model 911.93491992 purchased from Sears. The element was too long between the crossbar and the terminal ends to fit in the back of my oven. It would have fit perfectly if the metal crossbar holding the two ends of the element was closer to the terminal ends.
I tried and tried to move it back, but the crossbar was crimped down tight and wouldn't budge. My only other option (besides returning) was to bend the element ends upward to fit into the back of the oven. I bent mine by hand, which does require quite a bit of force. I didn't want to use tools for fear of breaking the element.
If you do have to bend yours, I highly suggest you wear gloves due to sharp metal on the crossbar and terminal ends should you lose your grip. It's now installed and working great; plus you can't find a better price. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to bend it.
Bottom Heating Element August 14, 2010 WorldsFinestGM Initially, I thought that the element would not work because it was a different shape than the original. After confirming with a local dealer to ensure it was the correct part, I ordered the element. The item worked perfectly after installation. No issues with the item at all. If I could have one recommendation, it would be that it come with installation instructions.
