The product was exactly what we needed. There was one little part missing, but we had it on our original unit. It is perfect for a replacement and about half price of a parts store. The parts guy actually told me how to check for it online. Glad I did!

I have a Whirlpool model GS6SHEXNS02 Side-by-Side Fridge with in door icemaker. I purchased the shown ice-maker. It arrived within a couple days as advertised. I removed my old ice maker, and swapped a couple parts onto the new unit. I then hooked it up, and plugged the fridge back in. New unit did not fill instantly, and I am kind of impatient, so I just primed it using a turkey baster, and about 4 to 6 ounces of water, and that was it. Within a couple hours the first load of ice dumped, and the unit refilled on its own. I came home today from work to a full ice bin. This was fantastic if you ask me. It definately beat a 150.00 service call only to find out I would have had to pay another 100.00 for the ice-maker to be replaced, or even worse having one small part replaced on an old unit for that price. As far as difficulty I would give it a 3 out of 10 on the install. If you can handle a nut driver, and a screw driver you are in business.

The icemaker fit perfectly in our freezer. It was exactly as everyone else said in their reviews. Three screws, one plug, and away we went. Ten minutes tops to replace. So simple. The icemaker was brand new, and was exactly as described on the website. The icemaker was shipped very quickly. I was extremely impressed with my overall experience. Thanks!

This item was an outstanding replacement for my Kenmore refrigerator. It came with several types of electrical connections to suit Whirlpool Kenmore and other brands. I only needed the one attached. It was easy to install and was working as soon as it reached temperature. It did not even need to be adjusted for size of ice cube (however that is very easy to do) Thanks
